Special activities by students and teachers change the general scenarios all over the country. At some schools on this day, the responsibility of teaching is taken up by the senior students to show appreciation for their teachers.

I'll present awards to the best teachers of Gujarat: Modi

The Gujarat CM, sending his message on teacher's day, also informed that he would, "present awards to the best teachers of Gujarat and after that, like every year, will interact with little students from across Gujarat who ask me questions on practically anything under the sun including what I eat to what kind of movies I see. Looking forward to it."

On this special day, OneIndia wishes its readers and viewers a very happy Teacher's Day -- They Inspire You, They Entertain You, And You End Up Learning A Ton Even When You Don't Know It.
