New Delhi, Dec 4: We have already learned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a tough task master. And a section of his own MPs tasted it on Tuesday during a party meeting ahead of the parliamentary session.

According to reports, some 20 MPs of the BJP reached the meeting held in the Balayogi Auditorium in the Parliament late. This made the prime minister annoyed and he reportedly asked them to wait outside for a few more minutes.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu later said in the future, the door will be closed for those who reach the meeting five minutes late. The PM instructed Naidu to make the announcement, sources said, according to the report.

After coming to power in May, the BJP has made it mandatory for the party MPs to attend the parliamentary sessions and party meetings. PM Modi even asked maintenance of a report card for the MPs' attendance and he could see that whenever he wanted.

The prime minister himself maintains a strict regime and reaches the venue of the meetings ahead of the schedule.
