PM all set to take on Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi, Oct 2: As Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President visited Rajghat on the occassion of Gandhi Jayanti, one could not help but notice the absence of Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul's absence raised quite a few eyebrows as his absence came just minutes before the Prime Minister's meeting with him. The cold war between the two has been evident ever since Rahul became vocal about his views on the ordinance, thereby questioning the PM's position and the Cabinet's decision.

Singh returned back to India on Tuesday and was seen in a combative mood, where he indicated his unhappiness with the Congress Vice President's sudden outburst against the Ordinance.

The Cabinet is supposed to take a final decision on the Ordinance by Wednesday evening.

Cold war evident between Rahul Gandhi and Manmohan Singh

Earlier Singh had expressed his displeasure saying that he was not a master of what people said. "When I go back I will find out the reasons why it had to be done this way and how we will handle it," he said.

Singh even ruled out a resignation that was lingering in the picture. "Well there is no question of resigning. I said I will put all these issues before my Cabinet colleagues," he added.
