Sheila Dikshit questions Modi govt on biased behaviour towards guvs
Dikshit, who spoke to an English daily questioned the Centre as to why the governors were selectively shown the door? "Why have the governors of Delhi and Madhya Pradesh been spared when others have been pressured into quitting," she asked.
Terming the government's approach as 'selective humiliation' she said that she failed to understand the reason behind such discrimination.
She said that people who were holding constitutional posts were humiliated and were treated badly.
Dikshit stepped down as Kerala governor last month, after being in office for less than six months. She had even said that she was asked to step down from her post at the behest of a bureaucrat.
This comes to light after many UPA apppointed governors either stepped down from their posts or were eventually transferred to another state.
