Speaking to Times Now, Tharoor said that the police hadn't communicated anything to them and that they have sought a copy of the police report.
This comes a day after the fresh post mortem reports revealed that Pushkar had died of poisoning, thereby raising many eyebrows. Tharoor had then refused to comment on the whole issue.
Meanwhile, Pushkar's family has demanded a CBI probe in the case. However the Delhi Police refused a CBI probe and said that the evidence provided in the fresh reports are inclusive. "The Delhi Police is capable to solve the case, CBI inquiry is not needed," Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said on Friday.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders such as Subramanian Swamy and Venkaiah Naidu have pressed for a CBI report in the case.
