Raj: Rahul Gandhi set to address people
New Delhi, Sept 11: In what could be termed as the 'face-off' of the season, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is all set to address an election rally in Salumbar, Rajasthan on Wednesday. The Congress rally is set to take place after BJP's Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Jaipur.

Gandhi will kick start the Congress party election campaign by addressing the people in Salumbar, which is likely to be followed by two rallies by Sonia Gandhi in the state.

Followed by this, Rahul will then address a rally in Baran on September 17. The mudslinging between Congress- BJP didn't stop as party general secretary in-charge for the state Gurudas Kamath said that the Congress rallies were planned way in advance.

In his rally, Modi criticised the UPA government for rampant corruption and scandals that shook the entire nation whereas Congress on Tuesday launched a counter attack on Modi saying that he was responsible for corruption and maintained double standards.

Rajasthan is a Congress led state and the party has seen many ups and downs during its tenure in the state.
