Shockingly, the hospital did this because the woman did not have money to pay Rs 500 as bribe asked by hospital authorities to get a bed.

During this act, the woman went into labour. Sadly, the baby hit the floor during birth and died.

The family of the woman protested against hospital authorities and refused to take the body of the baby. People sat at the hospital gate and protested against the hospital authorities.

Pregnant woman beaten to death

In another incident in Pakistan, a pregnant woman was beaten to death by her family outside a courthouse in the eastern city of Lahore.

This incident took place because the woman had defied the family's wishes and married the man of her choice.She was three months pregnant.

A crowd of witnesses, including her father, failed to intervene during the beating, and the lady - Parveen - succumbed to her injuries, the police said.
