New Delhi, Jan 10: Be careful while overtaking the car of the son-in-law of of none other than the President of Congress -- Sonia Gandhi. You might end up with paying money for passing by the car "dangerously". Yes, a Delhi-based businessman Saurabh Rastogi has experienced similar kind of situation when he has been fined for overtaking Robert Vadra's car.

Rastogi on Thursday, Jan 9 was penalised for rash driving after he "dangerously" swirled past the car of Vadra. He was fined under section 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act and allowed to leave.

According to police sources, the incident took place in the jurisdiction of Amar Colony Police Station in South-East Delhi when Vadra was coming from Okhla in his car.

Rastogi, who is a resident of Pashchim Vihar area, was coming from Lajpat Nagar and was going to Moti Mills in his Maruti Ritz car. One senior police official, on the condition of anonymity, was quoted as said, "When Rastogi dangerously overtook Vadra's car."

He also added, "The security personnel traveling with Vadra informed traffic police who in turn alerted local police and the errant driver was intercepted."

Vadra earlier had made headlines for allegedly getting privileges for being the son-in-law of the Congress President. His business deal with DLF in Haryana was among the deals which have been under scrutiny. IPS officer Ashok Khemka was believed to have become a victim for protesting against Vadra.
