Now, expelled AAP leader Vinod Kumar Binny joins BJP
New Delhi, Jan 18: The exodus seems endless. After Kiran Bedi and Shazia Ilmi, former colleagues of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, joined the BJP earlier this week, it is time for another former AAP leader Vinod Kumar Binny joined the saffron party on Sunday. Binny joined the BJP in the presence of Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay and Ilmi.
Binny, who was expelled from the AAP after he took on Kejriwal last year after the Delhi elections took place in December 2013.
There are speculations that Binny is planning to contest against Kejriwal in the February 7 election.
Shazia Ilmi, the former co-founder of the AAP, left the party in May last year citing problems in the party and joined the BJP on Friday. On Thursday, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi who led the anti-corruption movement with Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal, joined the BJP. [Kiran Bedi wants a stable government in Delhi]
