Now, Anna Hazare plans agitation against Narendra Modi govt
New Delhi, Jan 28: Anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare, whose hunger strike had taken the nation by storm four years ago, has reportedly decided to take on the Narendra Modi government at the Centre over issues like black money and Lokpal.
Hazare, who had targeted the UPA government of Manmohan Singh earlier, is reportedly unhappy with the current NDA government of Modi over the black money case.
The 77-year-old Gandhian reportedly alleged that Modi had promised to give Rs 15 lakh to each Indian after bringing the black money back from abroad but nothing has happened in the last eight months.
Hazare also said that the current prime minister did not say anything on appointing a Lokpal.
He also reportedly alleged that there is a difference between the words and actions of Modi.
Hazare reportedly spoke about his intention to launch a protest in Delhi against the central government and said the people felt betrayed and would teach the BJP a lesson, he was quoted as saying by a news channel.
