New Delhi, Nov 25: Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar is likely to address election meetings to mobilise support for his party in poll-bound Delhi.

Elections to the Delhi assembly will be held Dec 4.

"Nitishji is likely to visit Delhi Nov 30. He is expected to address public rallies on Dec 1 and 2, ahead of assembly elections here," a party functionary said.

Elections to the Delhi assembly will be held Dec 4.

The party made its debut in the Delhi assembly elections in 2008, contesting from 11 seats. It, however, failed to win a single seat in 2008.

Kumar is likely to woo the sizeable number of Bihari voters in Delhi. The capital has over three million Purvanchalis - people from the east, a term used to refer to those who have migrated to Delhi from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
