'Mann Ki Baat' a radio programme aired by AIR allows PM Modi to address the nation and reach out to the most remote corner of the country. Modi invited people in his first radio address to share their thoughts, comments and even give feedback for a better government.
Narendra Modi tweeted:
Looking forward to the 2nd "Mann Ki Baat" Radio Programme on Sunday 2nd November 2014 at 11AM.— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) October 22, 2014
Once again, I invite you to share thoughts, comments & examples of good governance initiatives that have left an impression on your mind.— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) October 22, 2014
In his first radio address, Modi had urged the people to make use of khadi in every aspect. He said: "We must promote the use of khadi. Buy at least one khadi article. It will help the poor and in one house one Diwali diya would be lit this festive season."
He even urged people to be a part of the 'Swachh Bharat' campaign and said that it is the need of the hour that every Indian shows his/her participation in keeping the public places and surroundings clean.
The PM also said that he would connect with the people every month on a Sunday at 11 am through radio.
