New Delhi, Dec 4: While Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti's statements may have caused a huge uproar in the Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the Rajya Sabha during the Question Hour on Thursday.
Amidst the huge ruckus that led to the disruption of the Parliament for two consecutive days, Modi is likely to make a statement on the entire issue that has erupted after Jyothi's statements.
Meanwhile, the Opposition has been adamant and has demanded Jyothi's resignation. The Opposition created a huge ruckus over the entire issue resulting in repeated adjournments of the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti had apologised. "Congress ministers too made inappropriate comments," Naidu said.
