New Delhi, March 28: Gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Congress candidate from New Delhi constituency Ajay Maken is confident of winning. New Delhi is all set to witness a three way fight in the constituency with Ajay Maken going against BJP's Meenakshi Lekhi and AAP's Ashutosh Khetan.

In an interview to CNN-IBN (read here), the sitting MP from New Delhi says that he is confident of winning the elections with a bigger margin this time. "I think the kind of response that am getting from the people, am very confident that the last time while I had won by 2 lakh votes, this time i'll win by a bigger margin," he said.

Maken:No one has been able to level a single paisa allegation against me

Maken is also banking on his clean, corruption-free image. On asking how is he going to fight with Congress being embroiled in so many scmas, he says that 'he has been clean and that there are no allegations against him.

"I have been the Sports minister, the Housing Minister, the Urban Development Minister. All these ministeries have different departments and no one has been able to level a single paisa allegation against me.

Yes corruption is an issue and I'm clean," he said.
