Vinod Kumar, was killed last week after he accompanied a team of excise department officials during a raid in Delhi, where he was attacked with hockey sticks and sharp weapons. He succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
Kejriwal in a letter to Kumar's wife said that he would like to visit her personally but could not do so due to his ill health. "We are with you in this moment of grief," he wrote.
