Sibal tweeted: "Happy Holi Dr Harshvardhan, let's take on the future with the spirit that the only winner ahead is the people of India."
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>Happy Holi <a href="https://twitter.com/drharshvardhan">@drharshvardhan</a> ji! Let's take on the future, with the spirit that the only winner ahead, is the people of India!</p>— Kapil Sibal (@KapilSibal) <a href="https://twitter.com/KapilSibal/statuses/445502074789171200">March 17, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
He also said that eventually it is the people who should emerge victorious.
What is interesting is that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Chandni Chowk, Ashutosh too wished both the leaders and tweeted that though he tried to wish both the leaders on the festival of colours, no one had responded.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>Tired calling Sibbal ji and Harshwardhan JI but could not connect,Wanted to wish happy Holi and take their blessings. Happy Holi sirs.</p>— ashutosh (@ashutosh83B) <a href="https://twitter.com/ashutosh83B/statuses/445405744213413888">March 17, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
The BJP on Saturday announced that Harshvardhan would contest against Congress' Kapil Sibal and AAP's Ashutosh. Kapil Sibal is the sitting MP from the constituency and has won two straight elections from there.
Chandni Chowk will be one interesting constituency to watch out for as all the three opponents from here are well known names and hold good posts in their parties.
