Is there a rift brewing between AAP's founding members?

Bhushan denies writing critical article
New Delhi, Dec 13: All is not well within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) camp. Just when social activist Anna Hazare slammed AAP member Gopal Rai for speaking against Gen VK Singh at his rally on Friday, reports of Shanthi Bhushan writing a critical article on Arvind Kejriwal have emerged.

Reports suggest that former law minister and founding member of the AAP, Shanthi Bhushan had written an article for Mail Today in which he criticized Arvind Kejriwal. However Bhushan has denied such reports.

Bhushan: Any such article has not been written by me

Bhushan said: "Any such article has not been written by me and it is a piece of fabrication.' He even threatened to sue Mail Today and other media houses that carried the same.

Reports suggest that in the article, Bhushan has criticized Arvind Kejriwal heavily and even wrote that Kejriwal's motives were to attack BJP leader Nitin Gadkari.

However by Saturday evening Mail Today said that the article published under Bhushan's name was 'fake' and even apologised to Bhushan. Mail Today said: "We are filing an FIR to ascertain the facts and to see who is behind this mischief. We have verbally apologised to Mr Bhushan. We will be sending a formal apology to him. There was no malice or malafide in publishing the article."

Shanthi Bhushan along with his son Prashant Bhushan joined Anna Hazare in his fight against corruption in 2011. Shanthi Bhushan then later on joined Arvind Kejriwal and became one of the founding members of the AAP.
