Rajiv Mehta: No charges against me
New Delhi, Aug 6: A day after Indian Olympic Association (IOA) Secretary General Rajiv Mehta and wrestling referee Virender Malik were released after charges against them were dropped due to lack of evidence, Mehta arrived in New Delhi today and said that there were no charges against him.

Mehta, who arrived on Wednesday morning told reporters: "There are no charges against me."

The Indian contingent was left red-faced after allegations of drunken driving emerged against Mehta while Malik, who the IOA claimed was not a part of the Indian contingent was facing a serious charge of sexual assault.

After the charges against the duo were dropped, Mehta said that that he was represented in a wrong manner as he wasn't drinking and driving. He was in fact invloved in a minor accident after he was pulling out of a parking lot.

Officials said that they were released without any charges being framed agaisnt them.
