The man, disrupted AAP's press conference and threw ink at Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. He raised slogans against Kejriwal and even alleged that Kejriwal had back stabbed Anna Hazare. The man claiming to be a political activist threw a fit of rage and was then escorted out of the room.
Kejriwal: The Congress and the BJP are behind this
Kejriwal then said: "The Congress and the BJP are behind this. They are scared of our popularity and are resorting to such tactics. Anna Hazare has written to me and said that a lot of people had complained to him about me."
Immediately after the incident, the BJP condemned the attack on Kejriwal and confirmed that Nachiketa used to be a member of the BJP's I-T cell. "AAP is acting like the B-team of Congress," Meenakshi Lekhi, BJP spokesperson told Times Now.
Congress, on the other hand, said that the AAP was engineering attacks on itself.
Shazia Ilmi, who is contesting for the AAP from the RK Puram constituency said that this was a clear situation of hand-in glove between BJP and the Congress. " They are all afraid of the AAP's popularity and want to defame the party," she said.
