New Delhi, Jan 16: Sunada Pushkar, wife of Minister of State for Human Resources Shashi Tharoor, said on Wednesday that their Twitter accounts had not been hacked and that she sent out the tweets from her husband's account to show the world that Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar was "stalking" her husband.
According to a report in Economic Times, Sunanda Pushkar, who got married to Tharoor in 2010, said: "Our accounts have not been hacked and I have been sending out these tweets. I cannot tolerate this. This is a Pakistani woman who is an ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) agent, and she is stalking my husband. And you know how men are. He is flattered by the attention. I took upon myself the crimes of this man during IPL (Indian Premier League). I will not allow this to be done to me. I just can't tolerate this. I have nothing more to say."
The minister had posted on Twitter on Wednesday that his account had been hacked and it would be temporarily deactivated. According to the ET report, he wasn't aware about his wife's tweets and didn't respond when asked for a reaction on what his wife had said.
Pushkar accused Mehr Tarar as an ISI agent
Shashi Tharoor, the MP from Thiruvanantapuram, found himself in a controversy on Wednesday evening after intimate messages, supposedly sent to him by Tarar, were posted on his widely followed Twitter account.
