I have political compulsions, can't decide who to support now: Mamata

New Delhi, Feb 20: West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday avoided a question on supporting BJP during the next Lok Sabha election, according to a report published in Bengali daily Ei Samay.

Speaking to reporters during the day when veteran activist Anna Hazare endorsed her as the prime ministerial candidate, Banerjee said she has political limitations and can not decide on the future at this moment. She also evaded a question on whether Narendra Modi is fit to become the PM.

Banerjee believes that the BJP will win 150 seats in the Lok Sabha election

Banerjee said the BJP, despite all the claims made by the pre-poll survey, would not get more than 150 seats and there is no point in supporting it at this very moment.

The TMC chief said that a government of the Federal Front will come to power at the Centre this year and the Congress will be reduced to a marginal force with just 60 seats.

Earlier, Hazare said if Banerjee wins 100 seats in the Lok Sabha election, the country will see a change under her as the PM.
