'BJP, SAD alliance not over yet'
New Delhi, Nov 2: Delhi BJP on Saturday said that they did not want to break their alliance with the Shromani Akali Dal (SAD) at any cost.

Ahead of the Assembly elections, BJP Delhi CM candidate Harshvardhan said that the party was making all efforts to fight the Delhi Assembly elections unitedly with its ‘natural ally' SAD.

This was announced after the Delhi unit of SAD announced to contest 16 seats on its own in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Harshvardhan said, "We have been working in close coordination with them and I would never like the alliance to be broken at any cost. This is the view of the party also. Efforts are on and I expect the results to be positive."

Harshvardhan: BJP, SAD will defeat Congress together

Harshvardhan said that SAD was a natural ally of the BJP and said confidently that the relationship between BJP and SAD will continue and that both the parties will work together to defeat Congress in the polls.

Harshvardhan said that the final decision has not yet emerged.

The core committee of SAD had unanimously passed a resolution on contesting the elections alone and had sent a letter to party President Sukhbir Singh Badal on Oct 22, so that he could take a decision.
