Harshvardhan promises to bring reforms
New Delhi, Oct 25: A day after being elected the Chief Ministerial candidate for Delhi, BJP's Dr Harshvardhan said that 'what Delhi needed was a healing touch.'

Addressing media personnel at a press conference, Harshvardhan said that he will try to bring radical reforms in the capital if his party came to power. "I promise to bring a clean, transparent and people friendly government away from the Congress government's inefficient rule," he said.

He also added that the party will leave no stone unturned to defeat the corrupt Congress government.

On asking about him being chosen as the chief ministerial candidate, he said that he was greatful to the party. " I am very greatful that the party's Parliamentary Board named a simple party worker such as me as its CM candidate," he said.

"Very few governments are given the oppurtunity to be in power for 15 years and despite that the Congress government has been inefficient," he said.
