Govt dedicated to One Rank One Pension, says Narendra Modi

New Delhi, May 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that the government was dedicated towards 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP) policy.

In his tweet on Saturday, Modi said: "On OROP- the Govt is committed to OROP & there's no doubt about it."

In an interview to The Tribune (read here) Modi said that the Congress was 'politicising the OROP.' "The previous government don't have the rights to speak about it because they did nothing when they were in power.'

OROP relates to payment of uniform pension to defence forces personnel retiring in the same rank with the same length of service, irrespective of their date of retirement.

In another tweet, Modi said that there was not a single instance of corruption during one year of his government.

"I can say with pride that there has not been a single instance of corruption," PM said.
