Delhi youth murder case: All accused produced before juvenile justice board

New Delhi, August 7: The Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested all five accused who were involved in the broad day light killing of a 19-year-old boy in Madangir area in south east Delhi.

As per TOI report, Delhi police apprehended all five accused, out of which three are juveniles and other two also claim to be minors, but the verification regarding their age is going on.

A police officer said that the accused have been sent to a reformation home after being produced before the juvenile justice board.

The police reached at the crime spot after receiving a call and took Sachin to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

All the accused were booked over murder charges and they have confessed to have committed the crime.

In their police statement, one of the accused said that Sachin used to extort money from them and even forced one of them to have unnatural sex with him frequently.

"The accused and other locals have stated that Sachin used to collected weekly 'protection money' from the suspects who own small kiosks and businesses in the area. He had assaulted them on several occasions for not paying up on time. On being denied payment, he also sodomized the juveniles," an officer said.

The accused teenagers, then decided to eliminate Sachin, who allegedly used to work for some local criminals and was running an extortion racket in the area on their behalf.

However, Sachin's family has denied he had any criminal record or any connections with gangsters and has demanded speedy justice.

One of his grieving relative said that Sachin had no personal animosity with anyone.

Sachin's brutal murder was caught live on a CCTV footage camera when five killers chased him and stabbed him to death in a crowded street, as the horrified onlookers watched the crime.
