New Delhi, Dec 9: On the ill-fated night, when the 27-year-old woman was raped by an Uber cab driver, the victim sent a text saying 'I have been raped.'

However instead of sending the text to her friend she sent the message to the cab driver by mistake.

Yadav allegedly had dialled his number from the woman's phone before fleeing from the scene. However once he received the text on his phone, panic gripped him and he had planned to leave with his family to Nepal.

The woman told police officials that she had dozed off while she was in the taxi . Seizing this opportunity, Yadav raped the woman and even threatened her that he would shove an iron rod inside her if she tried to shout- a grim reminder of Dec 16 gangrape case.

On Tuesday, Yadav confessed to his crime to the police officials but showed no remorse. Meanwhile Delhi Police will question the Uber cab officials today.
