Delhi polls: Kiran Bedi was always a BJP sympathizer, says Kumar Vishwas
New Delhi, Jan 23: The fight between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and BJP is getting ugly day by day. A day after AAP member Shanti Bhushan praised BJP Delhi CM candidate Kiran Bedi, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas has said that 'Kiran Bedi has always been a BJP sympathizer.'
Vishwas on Thursday in an interview to Times Now said that the 'India Against Corruption' movement was actually a movement of 'India Against Congress' and not Corruption. AAP leader Ashish Khetan too agreed with Vishwas' comments.
"Top activists during the Anna movement were pro-BJP. Kiran Bedi had dissuaded Arvind Kejriwal against taking on the BJP during IAC," Vishwas said.
Meanwhile, Kiran Bedi on Friday reacted to Vishwas' comments and said: "The comment made was too low. I won't indulge in mudslinging." Bedi on Friday campaigned in her constituency Krishna Nagar and interacted with the locals.
