Delhi Police asks 'what does Rahul Gandhi look like'; angers Congress leaders
New Delhi, March 14: A hue and cry is being made about the Delhi Police's visit to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's office.
A team from the Delhi Police visited the office of Rahul Gandhi last week and sought details about his looks. On Saturday another team arrived at Rahul's residence.
Reports suggest that the Delhi Police asked questions about Gandhi's physical appearance including what he looked like. They allegedly asked about his complexion, hair colour and more.
This, however, has not gone down well with the Congress party who raised an objection to the same. Congress protested and said that it was a breach of Gandhi's privacy.
Congress demanded that the Centre and the Home Ministry respond to the search conducted by the Delhi Police team.
On the other hand, the Delhi Police team said that such surveys are conducted at all Protected Persons' offices from time to time.
