Delhi govt deadlock continues, SC to take up AAP's petition on Oct 10

SC to take up AAP's plea on Oct 10
New Delhi, Sept 9: A day after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released a video claiming that BJP was indulging in horsetrading, the Supreme Court today said that the matter would be taken up on Oct 10.

SC heard AAP's plea over the dissolution of House and granted Centre time till October 10 to reply about the outcome of political consultations on govt formation in Delhi.

Meanwhile the Centre said that it had not received any communication from the President over the government formation.

Kejriwal, on the other hand, said that Lt Governor Najeeb Jung was batting for the BJP. "Don't understand on what basis Jung has given his report," Kejriwal said.

This comes a day after the alleged sting operation video showed AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya meeting BJP leader Sher Singh Dagar at his residence claiming that the latter had offered Mohaniya Rs 4 crore to join BJP.

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday had said that the party would submit the proof to the SC.
