Delhi Congress challenges Narendra Modi
New Delhi, Oct 1: Once again the Delhi Congress has locked horns with the BJP and openly dared Narendra Modi to contest the elections against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

The open challenge comes after Modi attacked Dikshit in his Delhi rally on Sunday where he said that her job as a CM was just ceremonial where she had nothing to do other than cut ribbons. He also slammed her for her role in the Commonwealth games and said that instead of bringing honour to our country, she choose corruption.

Addressing a rally in Paschim Vihar two days back, Dikshit said that her government has been working very hard to ensure the welfare of all communities while carrying out an inclusive development agenda for the city.

However it was her cabinet colleague Raj Kumar Chauhan, who slammed Modi for attacking Dikshit and challenged him to contest the elections against her in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Chauhan, termed Modi as a divisive figure and said: "If he has guts then he should contest the assembly elections against Sheila Dikshit. His politics is to divide the society."

Chauhan even alleged that Modi had financially supported the BJP for his rally at the Japanese Park. He went on to add that the Gujarat CM didn't even have time to visit the flood affected areas in his own state.

Dikshit in her speech accused the opposition of misleading people with false promises and said that the opposition will give 12-hour supply, whereas the government is already providing round the clock power.
