Delhi assembly election: Denied poll ticket, BJP leader Dhir Singh Bidhuri resigns
New Delhi, Jan 20: After a series of new entrants into the BJP just few days before the upcoming assembly election, the party faced a major jolt as one of its leader, Dhir Singh Bidhuri from Okhla resigned, as the ticket was given to a BSP defector.
57-year-old Bidhuri's supporters created a ruckus after he was denied a poll ticket by the BJP.
4 mandal presidents of Delhi BJP From Okhla assembly seat also resigned against the ticket distribution process.

The BJP gave Okhla ticket to the BSP defector Brahma Singh Bidhuri, that left Dhir Singh miffed.
Shortly after quitting from the party, Bidhuri said, "I have no issues with the party. Have put in my papers."
