Prakash Karat: Want to keep the BJP, Congress away
CPI (M), which recently alinged with ten political parties to form a non- Congress and non- BJP government at the Centre also focussed the same in its manifesto.
Karat said that the main aim of the manifesto would be to keep the Congress and the BJP away.
"What we need is the ouster of UPA government, alongwith that we also need an alternative front. The country today needs an alternative based on alternative policies," he said.
Karat also said that the party will try to bring back price control of pertoleum and its products and will also strees on reducing yaxes on pertrol.
Karat then hit out at the BJP saying that the party had nothing to offer when it came to tackling price rise.
