Manish Tewari: Modi played the drums well but Japan visit was unsuccessful
Congress leader Manish Tewari on Wednesday described Modi's Japan visit as ‘unsuccessful' and said that the visit had no substance. "If you step back and look at the Prime Minister's visit to Japan where he may have played the drum beautifully, but except for that, there is nothing that came out of the visit," he said.
Tewari added that Modi was successful in creating an excitement about bullet trains. "But the aam aadmi doesn't travel in bullet trains, they travel in regular trains," he said. He said: "There is a need to make the railway system of this country efficient so that the common man is able to avail of it."
PM Modi returned today from his five-day visit to Japan.
