Cong to keep an eye on govt policies
New Delhi, Nov 6: In a bid to counter all of Centre's schemes and policies, Congress has constituted a four-member group to keep a keen eye on the policy making procedures of the Modi government.

According to a report in the TOI (read more), the group is named as 'Research and Coordination Committee' aims to focus on the positive and negative aspects of the schemes initiated by the Centre. The group consists of Sandeep Dikshit, Randeep Surjewala, Sanjay Nirupam, and Rajeev Gowda.

This seems to be the first organisational step by the Congress ever since its drubbing the Lok Sabha elections this year.

The Congress has even been critical of 'Swachh Bharat campaign' and 'Jan Dhan' scheme saying that the Centre was merely renaming schemes launched by the UPA government.

Speaking to TOI , Nirupam said: " We will keep a close eye on the government. We will research policies and unearth the hidden details and their implications."
