Black Money case: Centre likely to name 3 account holders
Government may file an affidavit today in the Supreme Court disclosing the names of the account holders. The account holders are not politicians but businessmen and business organisations.
Meanwhile, other news that is doing the rounds is that the Centre may also expose politicians linked to the former UPA government.
The Narendra Modi government had promised that it would bring back all the black money that was stashed abroad. But few days back it said that the names and details of the people involved could not be made public.
This has led to a war of words between the BJP and the Congress. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had said that when the government reveals the names many Congress leaders will be embarassed. Congress reacted to this and said that the government instead of blackmailing the Congress should just reveal the names as it is.
