New Delhi, May 15: Two days after the Supreme Court issued fresh guidelines for advertisements issued by the government saying that political leaders including minister must not feature in them, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's ad on television has evoked a few responses.
Kejriwal, in his television ad, urges people to end corruption and mentions how the Delhi government has managed to keep corruption at bay (watch video here)
He also urges people to end the 'bribe culture' in the capital. Meanwhile, former AAP leader Prashant Bhushan on Thursday said: "some advertisement are running on TV with Arvind Kejriwal pointing out how AAP has done better than previous governments."
He also added that these kind of advertisements on government funds are clearly in violation of guidelines laid done by the Supreme Court on Govt-funded advertisement.
