Arvind Kejriwal to take demonetisation fight to Varanasi
AAP leader Ashish Khetan said that Kejriwal will address a rally in Meerut on Dec 1 following which he will address a rally in Lucknow on Dec 18.
New Delhi, Nov 22: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will be taking the demonetisation fight to Modi's bastion, Varanasi, where he will speak on Dec 7 at Beniabagh ground.
AAP leader Ashish Khetan said that Kejriwal will address a rally in Meerut on Dec 1 following which he will address a rally in Lucknow on Dec 18.
It is likely that demonetisation will be a key topic in all of Kejriwal's rallies.
According to report in TOI, Khetan said that the demonetisation is the biggest scam in the country's history. "Instead of bringing back the black money of Rs 80 lakh crore deposited in foreign banks, Modi government forced the common men and poor people of country to struggle in getting their own money exchanged," he said.

Khetan added that demonetisation had paralysed trade while unemployment was on the rise due to this decision.
Kejriwal had last week joined TMC chief Mamata Banerjee in a rally against the implementation of demonetisation. Both Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee criticised Narendra Modi saying that he had put the poor into a lot of trouble.
