Arvind Kejriwal submits 'sting operation' video tape to Delhi Police Commissioner

New Delhi, September 11: A day after meeting Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder Arvind Kejriwal met Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi nad submitted the sting operation video to him.

In the sting operation video, BJP's Delhi unit vice president Sher Singh Dagar is allegedly seen offering bribe of Rs 4 crore to AAP MLA from Sangam Vihar, Dinesh Mohania to join BJP.

Along with the video footage, Kejriwal also submitted a letter in which he asked that President Pranab Mukherjee must be informed of the "developments" and the Assembly dissolved.

After holding meeting with the Delhi Police Commissioner, Kejriwal tweeted, "Submitted sting CD to police comm. Urged him to file FIR, interrogate Sher Singh Dagar, find who is "high command" he is referring to...."

"Police commissioner said he will ask crime branch to investigate.....That high command shud be arrested n punished. We have sent a copy of sting CD to Hon'ble president also", he said in another tweet.

AAP has accused the BJP of indulging in horse-trading, and sought dissolution of the assembly.

Delhi was placed under President's rule after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal quit as chief minister Feb 14 this year.

The BJP now has 28 members in the 70-seat Delhi legislature after three of its members got elected to the Lok Sabha. The AAP has 27 members and the Congress only eight. There are four other members in the house.
