Arvind Kejriwal: Congress does not exist, it is finished
In an interview to Hindustan Times (read here), Kejriwal said that there are many issues to address during the Lok Sabha election like corruption in the media, Gujarat's model of development and the whole Mukesh Ambani issue.
On asking why was the AAP targeting only Narendra Modi and the BJP and not Congress, he said: "We are targeting both. Kumar Vishwas is there in Amethi to defeat Rahul Gandhi." But on furhter questioning why his speeches now speak only of Modi, he said thats because 'Congress is finished.'
"Congress does not exist. Congress is finished," he said.
When asked if the AAP had the resource and the man power to contest the Lok Sabha election, Kejriwal said that the 'people had expectations from them.'
"People are attached to us both mentally and emotionally. So it becomes their election, not ours. Same thing happened during the Delhi Assembly elections. It was the people who were fighting not the party,' he said."
