Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal assured on Sunday that his party would do what ever it takes to make Delhi corruption free and even claimed that their candidates were honest and were without and any criminal charges.
Addressing a gathering here, Kejriwal said: "Today every party in India is corrupt, so we made our own party. We will first make Delhi corruption free and promise that electricity will be provided 24x7 at half rates."
He went on to add that all the candidates in his party were honest, principled and had a clean chit.
Kejriwal on August 26 had said that he would be glad to nominate former IPS officer Kiran Bedi as AAP's chief ministerial candidate in Delhi.
"We have been asking Kiran Bedi to join AAP but she clearly said that she was not interested in politics. Even today we want her to join AAP and if she does, we will nominate her as the CM candidate of AAP as she has done a lot for the country," he said.
AAP has announced its first list of 44 candidates for Delhi's 12 constituencies for the city faces the assembly elections.
