This comes days after leaders like Shazia Ilmi and Capt. Gopinath quit the party. Yogendra Yadav too quit the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) recently.
Reasons for Damania and Menon quitting the party are still not known. Damania had contested against BJP's Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur and suffered a huge defeat in Lok Sabha elections. The party leadership in Delhi, however denied that it had received Damania's resignation.
Meanwhile Preeti Sharma Menon too offered to quit the party. AAP leader Mayank Gandhi said, "Anjali is a great asset to the nation. We must convince her to continue to lead Maharashtra AAP."
Post the election drubbing, AAP seems to be on a shaky wicket with more and more leaders quitting the party.
