Anna Hazare praises Mamata to take an indirect dig at Kejriwal
Speaking at a event here, the veteran Gandhian said he respected Banerjee for she maintained her modest living. He also praised her for not taking a government bungalow after coming to power and took a jibe at Kejriwal saying "there are people who said we won't take bungalow or vehicle, then took them".
Hazare said Mamata has the potential to change the nation
Soon after, Hazare and Kejriwal met at Maharashtra Bhavan late on Saturday night and the latter's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said the 20-minute meeting was a 'courtesy call'.
Hazare also said that Banerjee has the potential to change the nation if she becomes the prime minister. He said he had sent 17 points to every political party, which if implemented, could bring changes in the nation for good, but only Banerjee took care to reply.
