Hazare and Kejriwal had parted ways last year when Kejriwal went ahead and formed a political party. However the two maintained that they had mutual respect for each other and there were no differences between them.
But once the mood for the Delhi assembly elections set in, Hazare expressed his displeasure at Kejriwal saying that Kejriwal was using his name to collect funds for his party. He said that he had written to Kejriwal asking him to refrain from using his name to collect funds for he elections.
Hazare: People in politics are only interested in money and power
On Thursday, when Hazare spoke at the Agenda Aaj Tak conclave he said: "Taking the party route was not right when the movement had come to a turning point." He went on to add that had Kejriwal and him been together, the picture of the country would have been different today.
He also said that Kejriwal and other political leaders were not welcome to share the dias with him when he re-starts his anti- corruption movement on December 10.
He said he will continue to fight for the Lokpal Bill and had already visited six states, demanding that the Lokpal Bill be passed in parliament.
At the event, he even hit out at the government saying that people in politics were only interested in money and power.
