After Kejriwal's resignation, AAP funds swell up drastically

AAP witnesses a rise in donations
New Delhi, Feb 17: It seems the resignation of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has done his party some good.

A day after Kejriwal quit as the Delhi CM, his party received a lot of donations. The party received about Rs 27 lakhs on Satuday, Feb 15, for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The increase in the donations began after Kejriwal reisgned on Friday.

This sure proves that a lot of people still continue to have faith in the party.

This was the highest donation that the party had received in a single day this year. Earlier, the party would receive between Rs 3 to 4 lakh a day.

AAP had even witnessed a slump in the donations after Arvind Kejriwal had gone on dharna in January before Republic Day celebrations.

The party is now preparing to contest the Lok Sabha elections under Kejriwal's leadership and will soon begin its national campaign starting from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
