In an interview to Hindustan Times [read here], actor Abhay Deol has said that Bharti's actions were tarnishing the image of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Abhay termed Bharti's actions as 'unacceptable.'
Deol said: "That Bharti episode looked very bad. You can't just be ordering policemen. That was uncalled for and unacceptable."
He said that politicians can't be bullish with women and that they can't be a 'dictator' like that. "Everything your party stands for don't ruin it. It's with great difficulty that you've come up. You also have to follow the law," he said.
Deol, who had played the role of a budding politician in the film Raanjhanaa, said that the AAP had a responsibility now towards the people.
