New Delhi, Oct 1 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leaving no stone unturned in the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections. In order to reach out to a maximum number of Sikhs in New Delhi, the AAP has formed a cell to raise the issues and concerns of the community.

The party cell would be led by Parminder Singh Veerji, who was elected as the unit's president. The cell will have five members and will hear out the problems and the concern's of the community, that is still reeling under the effects of the 1984 riots.

Arvind Kejriwal said that after the 1984 riots the community has been till now treated as vote banks with none of the members who lost their families in the riots, getting justice.

Speaking at an event at the Constitution Club, AAP leader Kumar Vishwas said right from the time of independence , when Bhagat Singh sacrificied his life, till today the community has been pivotal in pushing India on the road to sucess.

"However, corruption within the government has led to delayed justice of the 1984 riot victims," Vishwas added.

The special cell will address the grievances of Sikhs in Dslhi

The cell president, Veerji said that now a special cell was formed, the entire Sikh community of Delhi willl join hands with the AAP to fight out corruption in the country.

The AAP, that is pitted against giants like Congress and the BJP in the Assembly elections, is taking a different route to woo voters in the capital.
