Already, there are about 1,200 volunteers from outside Delhi who have been accomodated in the city. But with the election dates nearing, the party is expecting more members to arrive from across the state.
A party official said that some will manage to arrange accommodation for themselves whereas the party will have to make arrangements for the others. "We are expecting another 7000 volunteers from across India. We are getting calls from several Delhiites, who are willing to offer accommodation to some of our volunteers. Some are offerring their flats, some bungalows and some are willing to take care of two volunteers," he added.
AAP has received donations in lakhs, mobile handsets, laptops from public
AAP's central office is taking care of about 400 volunteers as of now, whereas remaining volunteers, who are working in different constituencies will have to depend on the candidate from that particular constituency.
However, this is not the first time that AAP is experiencing the generous nature of the public. Previously the party received donations in lakhs in order to fight the upcoming elections. AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal had asked the public to donate whatever they could so that they could have some money to stand in the elections and AAP received lakhs from many generous people.
Apart from this the party has also received mobile handsets, 15 laptops and three cars.
