AAP to launch Youth Wing on Bhagat Singh's birth anniversary

AAP announces launch of Youth Wing
New Delhi, Sept 15: After setting up a women's unit last month, the Aam Admi Party (AAP) on Sunday announced setting up of its youth wing here.

The youth wing known as Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing, will be officially launched on Sept 27. AAP in a statement said: "The formal launch of the AAP Youth Wing will take place on Sept 27, the 107th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh. The Youth Wing has planned programmes to mark the occasion."

Men and women below the age of 35 can enrol for the AAP Youth Wing. The main aim of the Youth Wing will be to make AAP's presence felt at the booth level in Delhi.

The Youth Wing will be focussing on Delhi as youth contribute to one-third of the city's population. The Delhi unit will be headed by MLA Jarnail Singh.
