Care to buy AAP's branded 'jhaadu' for Rs 5 from an online store?
The AAP seems to have revolutionised the 'jhaadu' after it became the party's symbol. Keeping in mind AAP's recent success in Delhi assembly elections, demand for the jhaadu has gone up with online retailors selling the broom for as low as Rs 5.
Accoding to an article on the Wall Street Journal India Realtime blog [read here], tradus.com is selling the jhaadu as an AAP product at Rs 5. The description on the website says, 'Join the Anti Corruption Campaign in Delhi. Pay Rs 5 for this brand new Aam Aadmi ka Jhadu and celebrate the birth of corruption free New Delhi.'

Initially the broom was marked at a price of Rs 30 but later on the price was dropped to Rs 5. The offer is valid only for the first 1000 jhaadus, after which it will be sold for Rs 19.
However this is not the first time that politics is taking the online retail route. Recently a store was launched online where everything related to Narendra Modi was available including smartphones, mobiles and more.
