AAP has no chance for people won't waste their votes: Dr Harshvardhan

New Delhi, Dec 1: BJP's chief ministerial candidate for Delhi Dr Harshvardhan told Time Now channel that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will not be able to make any big impact in December 4 polls apart from making a few inroads. When asked whether the AAP would ruin the BJP's charges in the polls, the BJP leader said people like something new in the beginning but at the end of the day, they wouldn't waste their votes. He said the BJP is the only alternative to the Congress in the state.

Why didn't the Congress raise these issues all these days, Dr Harshvardhan asked

On the rape charges brought against him, Dr Harshvardhan said he such allegations are false as he had always maintained a high standard of public life. "Why are they raising such issues after so long time and ahead of the elections?," Dr Harsgvardhan said, adding that it was a politics of low standard. Would it hurt his morale in this elections? Dr Harshvardhan said the issue didn't hurt even even in 1996 when it was first raised. His wife told the channel that Dr Harshvardhan has proved himself against all odds.

Delhi is set for an interesting three-way battle between the 15-year-old Congress regime, the opposition BJP and the new kid in the block, the AAP.

The results of the Delhi elections will be published on December 8, along with those in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
